Born and raised in Oslo, Norway, Fam Irvoll graduated from Esmod International in 2005 and later from Central St Martins in London in 2008. A signature style of bright colours, 3D and cartoon elements were immediately apparent in her first collection.
Irvoll have had her own label since 2006, and has shown two collections a year since then. She now shows in Norway and London every season.
Before launching her own label, Irvoll worked for Vivienne Westwood, Gareth Pugh and Alexander McQueen.
Her garments have been featured in magazines such as Elle UK, Vogue, Elle India, Elle USA, Dazed & Cofused, i-D, Another Mag, Lush, Super Super, Metro, Sunday Times, Grazia, Cosmopolitan and others.
She has also dressed celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Marina and the Diamonds, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Lily Allen, Girls Aloud, Willow Smith, Paloma Faith, Kate Bush, and many more.
