Dior Announced Rihanna As Its New Face

Dior continues its Secret Garden campaign––featuring models in head to toe Dior creations at the palace of Versailles––this spring with special guest model, Rihanna. World famous photographer, Steven Klein, will shoot the pop star that turns out to be the very first black model to front the French fashion brand.

Past celebrity Dior spokeswomen include Jennifer Lawrence, Charlize Theron, Natalie Portman and Marion Cotillard.

It makes sense that Rihanna has been tapped as the next face to front the brand as she is s regular at their shows, she was named last year’s Fashion Icon at the Council of Fashion Designers of America awards, and had an incredible Balmain campaign.

Maybe it’s Dior that is getting the sweeter deal of the two.
