Elton John Forgot His Boycott, Caught Shopping at D&G

Elton John was spotted in Los Angeles entering a recording studio holding a Dolce and Gabbana bag just 24 hours after swearing to never wear D&G ever again over his instagram. The shopping bag was confirmed by an Sir Elton John representative who said, “Yes he was carrying the bag but he hadn’t been shopping. And it should not detract from their original message or the boycott.”

The singer kicked off the boycott after an Italian publication called Panorama published an article after Dolce and Gabbana’s Milan motherhood themed runway show that had the two designers talk about the inspiration in an interview. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana said that inmvitro fertilization was not natural and considered children born in this fashion to be synthetic. In response to their statements, the singer songwriter with two IVF children posted on Instagram a very defensive post saying “How dare you refer to my beautiful children as ‘synthetic’.”
