INSIDE WORLD FESTIVAL OF INTERIORS

Coinciding with the World Architecture Festival 2014 at the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, the just-as-popular INSIDE: World Festival of Interiors honors the very best in the international interior design scene with its annual awards competition.

This year's shortlist consisted of 60 nominations from 21 countries in nine different categories: Bars and Restaurants, Display, Hotels, Residential, Retail, Creative Re-use, Offices, Culture and Education, including well-known firms, such as MAKE Architects and a21 Studio.

One of the unifying qualities of this year’s nominations was the concept of “re-use and redesign.” Many of the recognized projects were not entirely new constructions, but innovative renovations to existing buildings where space and resources are limited.

It was fascinating to see how entries from around the world differed from continent to continent – bringing different levels to the meaning of good design.

Below we highlight the Asia Pacific nominees…

Enjoy!
